Velocity Technologies was founded in South Nashville with a simple idea: small and medium businesses shouldn't have to choose between "no IT support" and "hire someone full-time for $90K." There's a better option — a local partner who knows your systems, picks up the phone when something breaks, and keeps everything running so you can focus on your actual business.

We're not a call center. We're not a faceless corporation with a 1-800 number. We're a small team of IT professionals based right here in Nashville, and we treat your business like our own. When your server goes down at 7 AM before your staff arrives, we're already on it. When you need to set up a new hire's laptop before Monday, we handle it.

What we believe

  • Plain English, always. We explain things in terms you understand. No acronym soup, no talking down to you, no unnecessary complexity.
  • Prevent, don't just fix. Most IT problems are preventable with proper monitoring and maintenance. We'd rather catch an issue at 2 AM and fix it before you notice than get a panicked call at 9 AM.
  • Right-sized solutions. We won't sell a 20-person office the same firewall we'd put in a 500-person company. Your solutions should match your size, your budget, and your actual risk.
  • Local and accountable. We're your neighbors. We work with businesses in Brentwood, Franklin, Berry Hill, Antioch, La Vergne, Smyrna, and across South Nashville. If something's wrong, we can be on-site the same day.

Jess Disney — 20+ years of enterprise IT, from datacenter builds to running a 60,000-seat virtual desktop environment for a global bank — now bringing that same engineering discipline to Nashville-area small businesses. Middle Tennessee born and raised: farm family in Bedford County, and a Civil Air Patrol Major who flies volunteer search-and-rescue missions on weekends (current Mission Pilot, Transport, and Maintenance Pilot ratings). When we say we'll show up, we mean it literally.
